Who We Are

A Community Organisation Built for Communities

Established in 2017, Humanitarians Without Borders is a Victorian-based incorporated multicultural community organisation supporting migrant, refugee and culturally diverse communities in the western suburbs of Melbourne and surrounding regions.

Driven by 6 core volunteers and an extended volunteer network, we work alongside grassroots groups, faith communities and local leaders to strengthen organisational capacity, improve governance, and deliver programs that promote safety, wellbeing and social inclusion.

We are an incorporated association registered with Consumer Affairs Victoria (Registration No. A0096166U), operating under our own rules with a current and active status.

Since our establishment in 2017, we have provided ongoing support, essential goods and referrals to over 100 families from migrant and refugee backgrounds each year.

6+
Core Volunteers & Extended Network

Our 6 core volunteers — backed by an extended community volunteer network — deliver programs across Congolese, African, Pacific Islander, South-East Asian and broader multicultural communities.

Active
Liberty Arena Partnership

In partnership with Liberty Arena Church, we deliver youth mentoring, leadership development and community engagement programs — providing young people with purpose, skills and connection.

Early
Youth Intervention in High-Risk Areas

Through our youth mentoring program, young participants have returned to education, developed leadership skills and increased positive community engagement — reducing risk before it escalates.

Through our youth mentoring and leadership programs, we have seen young people return to education, step into community leadership roles, and actively choose positive pathways — demonstrating the real, lasting impact that early intervention and cultural connection can achieve.
